Tyranny makes up much of history, sad to say. But man evolves and grows out of such ways. But, that being said, tyranny has its good side—building stable nation-states, bringing peace. The First tyrant we know about was Sargon, a slave who became king and built an empire in the Middle East—an empire that brought 150 years of peace to that part of the world. No small feat for the Middle East! He did it by being a mean cuss feared by his enemies.
