Coulter is making the point that there is ONLY one "existential" issue, and that is immigration. If Hillary - OR Jeb - wins, our journey to Third World status will be irreversible.

I wish that people who think that the way to support a Conservative position on any issue or subject, is to disparage all other Conservative positions, would wake up and realize how counter-productive is their methodology. I am opposed to abortion, and have been since the issue was first raised by the radical feminists. But setting out to demonstrate one's personal fanaticism, as this writer does, garners no new support among the undecided, while it infuriates those of us who are not myopic "one issue" conservatives.
And note that derogatory appeal to the Leftist panoply of "bugaboos," in the "lily-white GOP" crack in the first line. It is obvious that Mr. Berman is more interested in venting than persuading.

She’s very happy that Trump takes illegal immigration seriously. I am, too. The invasion of the US is one of the major problems we face as a Nation. We have gotten so tied to foreigners, we are in knots and now, a death spiral.
I agree but the outrageous joke is by Ann Coulter, not Donald Trump. Coulter earns her living with such statements. I think if she’s supposed to be a conservative and pro life, then this particular comment by her was outrageous and even unforgivable.
