TOP SECRET//SI//TK//NOFORN is the header used on classified documents that contain extremely sensitive material and must be handled with extreme care. It cannot be downgraded by anyone that is not the originator, nor can it be shared or stored on unclassified email servers, thumb drives or cell phones. I’ll break it down for people who may not know what this header means.
TOP SECRET – Is the highest official classification used on government documents to indicate that its TOP SECRETrelease could cause exceptionally grave damage to national security or foreign relations.
SI – Refers to SPECIAL INTELLIGENCE. This caveat indicates that the information was gathered through electronic means.
TK – TALENT KEYHOLE indicates that the information was gathered from satellite based intercepts and mapping locations of the target.
NOFORN – Not to be shared with foreign Governments. There are other caveats for that.
Any documents marked with TOP SECRET//SI//TK//NOFORN will, if released, cause grave damage to future intelligence operations, intelligence sources and the American warfighters in harm’s way. This information in the wrong hands will damage future intelligence gathering and endanger the lives of intelligence operators and informants.
Samples of the documents provided by Ms. Clinton’s from personal server downloaded to a thumb drive were of that nature. Just the information on the thumb drive alone warrants an investigation for violation of the Federal Records Act and the Espionage Act. The discovery of classified information on Clintonemail.com server was, after an inspection conducted by the Intelligence Community’s Inspector General, Charles McCullough, reported to Congress
It was also reported that Clinton had several emails which were either mislabeled or improperly (illegally) sanitized and sent as unclassified. However, they contained information that should have remained “TOP SECRET//SI//TK//NOFORN.” Even if the emails had the caveats removed

Is anybody really investigating. It should never take this long for US Security to locate, evaluate and deciminate the information. Hillary is a common criminal. She has violated many laws and no one wants to hold her accountable. No wonder people are flocking to Trump. He has no fear. I would love to see Cruz. He has what it takes to take down the BO Cartel and Clinton Crime Foundation.
Yeah, but she didn’t know about it. Somebody musta used her computer when she turned away for just a second. No, really. Why, she’s a pillar of integrity.
I don’t generally make a practice of reposting previous responses. But I’m doing so here because I think we are being misled about the classified contents of found in Hillary’s email files. Speculation is morphing into “facts”.
We need to be careful about what we claim to be true and what is really true about these classified documents. At this point we know very little about the contents of those emails beyond the fact that an Inspector General from the Intelligence Community has declared two of them to to be TS and SCI to boot. Personally I trust the judgement of that IG. I believe he has made the right call. There are highly classified documents on the Hillary server.
But we should not extend that belief to blindly accepting the idea that classified documents were scanned, markings removed and emailed to Hillary. There is simply no proof of that.

I really think that there is a major misunderstanding of what is being referred to as “classified information” in the news reports.
Here is what I believe is the reality:
1. There will be no instances found of actually scans of classified documents found in any of the files, even those that have been erased if they are recovered. Remember, Hillary had a lawyer and presumably her close associates go through those documents looking for sensitive information. They would not have missed a document marked TOP SECRET. Nor would scans of any level of classified documents been missed. Just not possible.
2. Therefore the idea that “Top Secret” and similar markings were removed by some unknown entity is not going to be found either. That has been nothing but MSM speculation right from the get-go.
3. What will be found is the inadvertent disclosure of highly classified material as part of the normal conversation that goes on in any email. In the case in question those conversations just naturally involved matters related to the highest levels of National Security.
For example assume that Huma and Hillary and Cheryl are discussing news reports that detail a program where drones are collecting images of Pakistani nuclear storage facilities.
Assume that Huma or Hillary or Cherly makes the seemingly innocuous comment: “How in the heck did they find out about that?”
She has just divulged Top Secret information by in effect confirming the existence of the surveillance program

Those messages aren’t just there or not there. If they were sent, the sender has a record of the transaction, including the address the message was sent to. If the message was sent to clintonemail.com, that means the sender had vetted the recipient as safe to send top secret content to. In turn that means that someone lied about the security of the receiving server, or the sender violated strict protocols. SOMEONE is going to prison over this.

Are we to believe she received/sent no classified emails in her tenure as SOS? Never dealt with classified issues?
How did she communicate classified material? Snail mail? Her cell?

I agree. Classified information, highly classified information was sent to and from that server. We know that from the IGs report. But AFAIK, the actual form of that information is unknown to us.
I make this point in part because it will be the basis for the denials that will flow like water from the Hillary camp. They will argue that the emails are not now and never were classified.
They have choice but to do so. It is their last line of defense short of an Obama pardon.

Me too. But that won’t stop the lawyers from disputing it.
Just remember one thing. Those talking points are meant for low information voters (LIV). Democrats and the establishment depends on the stupidity of the American voters. Stay calm and educate LIVs. You may not change all but if you can change one mind it will be worth it.

I swear this article could have been written by simply reading through a couple of FR threads...
What I find fascinating is that no one appears to know—outside of maybe people in the Department of State, the FBI, and senior members of the House and Senate Select Committees on Intelligence who sent the emails to Hillary’s email server.
Also, since Hillary claims not to have had a state.gov email address until shortly before she left the Department of State, how did people who emailed her within that Department know to send the emails to her private email server? If she gave them the email address, did not a one of them question why she was not using a state.gov email address?
Or did she have a state.gov email address from which she automatically and immediate directed all emails to her personal email address and also automatically and immediately deleted those emails in an attempt to hide the content of those emails?
Finally, are we to believe that the Department of State does not have email servers that retain the email? I would be looking at the Department of State IT folks pretty closely since at least one of them may have directed all of Hillary’s email to her private server BEFORE it reached the Department of State email server. In other words, did a router read email packets addressed to Secretary@state.gov and route them to HDR19@clintonemail.com rather than to the Department of State email server?
I met Hillary decades ago. She simply isn’t smart enough to have done this by herself. Someone in the Department of State is covering for her because she or he has to cover her or his own behind.
I find it ironic that Karma has bitten Hillary in the ass. She was on the Watergate investigation(actually thrown off for mis-conduct) where she was persecuting Nixon for erasing the tape..... and now she is guilty of erasing her email server. I see obstruction of justice charges coming soon.
One must be careful when fighting with a pig like Hillary! Or they will be covered in the crap Hillary throws out.
Maybe Russia/China will blab about what they have, just to re-set Hillary’s re-set button.
