Not me.. I’m at that point in life where time off is far more important. 28 months to retirement and I take vacations 2 - 3 times a year and a day off here and there. Still have the max carry over on the books as back up and when I leave work every day.. I leave work and bring nothing home.
After years of not going away on vacation, now that our daughter is past toddler age and had/has swimming lessons, tomorrow we are going on a two week beach vacation at the Baltic Sea. I told my wife we didn’t even go yet and this is great - we need to get away more. She said we are booked for a long weekend in October, I forgot the place name but they have a really nice pool and large adventure/playground.
Thats how it now needs to be!
