All Lives DO Matter
Coach is Right ^ | 7/21/15 | John C. Velisek USN (Ret.)

We live in an information age. Yet with all the avenues of information available to us, we still have far too many people who don’t or won’t understand the problems facing this nation. A few cases in point: Rep. Luis Guitierrez, (D) Illinois called the murder of Kate Steinle at the hands of an illegal immigrant, “A little thing.” I am sure it brings comfort to her family and friends that an elected official thinks so little of those cut down in the prime of their lives, murdered by someone in the United States thanks only to the efforts of the Democrat Party. This little yapper of a man ignores the devastation he is causing as he apparently considers white people expendable. One might think that such arrogance and ignorance would matter in the next election, but it won’t.

I have a question for Sen. Guitierrez. Are all the deaths of those killed by immigrants a little thing? If they are white, that isn’t a problem obviously, but what if they are black? Or Hispanic? Would that make a difference?

And if being black and murdered by an illegal doesn’t matter, why not? Wouldn’t that run directly against “Black Lives Matter”?

I do not understand why those of the “Black Lives Matter” activist group refuse to get upset when someone says “All Lives Matter”/ “I am a Christian,” another “sect” soon to be banned group if the government has its way. And I consider every life precious. Yes, black lives do matter, as do White lives, Asian lives, Hispanic lives and all others. But it is becoming a contest to decide whose lives matter more, according to the terms of political correctness, that is. Why are people booing those who say all lives matter? Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley were...

All Lives DO Matter

Of course, all lives matter, especially to the owner of the life.

I wonder just how politically correct one must be to believe, endorse, support, or follow any nonsense to the contrary.

Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Statement: All lives matter.

Response: A debatable proposition.

Comment: There are some worthless people out there.

I guess all “votes” don’t matter either.
Only black votes matter.

The Democrats have a tiger by the tail. Their pandering is turning on them.

Blacks could do more for themselves and their fellow man by looking for opportunities to move forward rather than relegating themselves to the past.
SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness POSITIVELY by uniting our affections, the latter NEGATIVELY by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher.

Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil . . . - Thomas Paine, Common Sense (1776)

Blacks are all upset about government as “punisher,” but they are fascinated by government’s potential to bribe them with “reparations.” Blacks need to break away (no mean feat, BTW) from that alluring chimera. The true solution is only to be found in participation in society, rather than government. "Participation in society" entails starting a business or at least getting a job outside of government.

Electronics Nobel winner Shockley was castigated for suggesting that genes played a role in making persons different especially as to societal functioning. I have experienced such in friends from various cultures. To deny genetic differences is to deny the diversity of God’s creation.
