In a truly surreal display, NFL great Brett Favre is being denounced by the left’s new cultural commissars for not clapping long and hard enough at ESPN’s ESPY awards, as Bruce/“Caitlyn” Jenner received a “Courage” award for his efforts to become a woman. Oddly, Favre did applaud – not doing so would have been a grave heresy to America’s new church of progressive inquisitors. His sin was not applauding enthusiastically enough.
The New York Post placed a video of Favre’s blasphemous insufficient clapping, juxtaposed with Jenner’s celebratory ascent to the stage. The video repeatedly replays Favre’s cruel, disgraceful, calloused political-ideological-cultural faux paus for the stunned amazement and universal condemnation of the New American masses. Yes, Mr. Favre, you’re guilty – we caught you on tape!

It was Brett that did that. Yes, Brett. No one else. Brett.
Commies are always hypersensitive, their worldview is so fragile that it cannot tolerate even the slightest hint that everyone isn’t 110% on board.

Do liberals realize what a joke the ESPN awards have become???
Do liberals realize how much of Middle America perceive the Bruce Jenner award to be a complete and total joke?? And do they care?
I’m sure the Jenner award plays well on the upper west side of Manhattan and in Hollywood. Does this award make any sense to the majority of people elsewhere???
This award, in my opinion, is as bogus as Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize. As we learned with Obama, the nominations for that year’s Peace Prize were due before Obama had any time as president to accomplish anything. He was awarded that “presigious” prize for not being “W”.
Oh, I’ve been defriended on Facebook because that person noticed that I never liked their pro-sodomy pearls of wisdom, even though I never said anything.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn described an instance in which the first person to stop clapping during the applause that followed the mention of Stalin’s name by a speaker at an event was promptly arrested by the NKVD, the Soviet secret police.
Which is why they had to install a bell, that would ring when it was ok to stop applauding during Stalin's speeches.
Unless & until “Caitlyn Jenner,” is able to get pregnant, no reasonable person will ever accept either his/her “heroism” or femininity. Asking or expecting normal people to applaud insane behavior is really sick.

That was the first thing that came to my mind as well!
The reason he didn’t clap is that he instinctly knew that Jenner, regardless of how he appeared still had one ‘Y’ chromosome and one ‘X’ chromosome. And, no amount of going under the knife can change that.
The Espy Awards are meaningless. ESPN does not cover sports. ESPN covers ESPN covering sports.
