These stories inevtiably come down to parents throwing a tantrum that their child has such difficulties combined with some very naive and selfish demands of what is the equivalent of the DMV for children.
They’re government schools. They suck, always have sucked and always will suck. Only a fool would believe in the existence or efficacy of an individual anything from a giant bureaucracy.
That's not always the case.
We live in a school district that provided a terrific education for our children from grade school all the way to high school.
It all depends on the goals and attitudes of the district and individual school administrators. Either they care about the kids' education or they don't.
