The resource room has a certified special education teacher who reviews Mia’s tests and helps her with unfinished homework.

Yep, there's some concerned, responsible parenting there. Quick, let's blame the school...

In Ohio, students with special needs might qualify for the Peterson Grant. This enables them to take their public school money to a private school that accepts Peterson Grants. It’s a special ed voucher program. My son is on the grant and attends our local Catholic school. The school is becoming known for its spec ed program. Most of the spec ed students are transfers from public schools. Public schools do not correctly complete spec ed programming, and the private spec ed students are thriving at our private school!
