If I could make every liberal read this article with an open mind, I would.
Sadly, this article will only be used to preach to the choir. No liberal will get beyond the initial paragraphs suggesting reason in the discussion. They are religiously wedded to a need to believe that Mother Gaia is in her death throes due to evil man overheating the world with his evil nasty cars and CO2 production.
I can’t wait until this hoax is widely excepted as false among all but the most inbred of commie lib tree hugging whack jobs. But change is really slow. We need a lot of colder weather before the liberal masses accept they have been lied to the entire time and their eyes are not seeing what the liars have been saying. My not even happen in my lifetime.

Because there hasn't been much change in human nature. It can still be as irrational and blind to fact and reason as ever (especially when self-interest is at stake). And that goes double for the most indoctrinated people in society (our academic and social elites).
That's the big lesson for me in all this (beyond the scientific aspect).
