“odds” don’t factor into the equation.
since we have no proof nor experiment that shows that life can spring (or ever has sprung) spontaneously from a random mixtures of chemicals, the appeal to any laws of probabilities is mistaken.
any scientist who builds their theory of extraterrestrial life on this shaky foundation is not a real scientist. they are indulging in speculation and wishful thinking.
