Are you absolutely certain that the Senator didn't understand that the bill required “permanent placement” of the flag at the Confederate Memorial and that it would have the force of law?

If you are certain, could we see your data?

The Leg was presented with 2 alternatives - flag on the Statehouse roof as it had been for almost 40 years, or flag on the Statehouse grounds.

I suspect that the Senator, as well as all the Leg, were smart enough to understand that, and that it would have “permanent placement”, and “that it would have the force of law [the last two subject to a 2/3 vote to change).

To suggest otherwise does our cause no good, and makes you look foolish, and, well.. ignunt.

It’ll take a 67% vote to remove the flag; I hope it fails.
