The Powers That Be have decided that we should not learn about the Civil War.
Okay.
But that just means the do-over will approach faster.
Who needs a civil war game. We have such a great civil cold war going on in real life.
Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.
George Orwell

This is straight out mind control.
The leftists have been working at convincing the new generations that America is evil. They have taken control of the educational system and have been succeeding.
Like all fascists, they try to whitewash history.
Just use it as a ‘teaching moment’.
OK. We will confine our game to early Civil War battles (Notably, Bull Run) before the Stars and Bars were used by the Army of Northern Virginia.
We apologize to our players, if you have a hard time telling your units from the enemy’s.
Why? Because that is exactly WHY the Army of Northern Virginia started using the Stars and Bars.
Another reason to go Android. You can easily sideload apps outside of the app store.
“On a day when Apple nonsensically removed all apps and games bearing the Confederate flag, Valve, with one swift move, has boldly proclaimed they will not cave into public pressure.
Not only are Civil War games actively being sold on Valve’s PC digital distribution platform Steam, but they’ve gone ahead and featured Ultimate General: Gettysburg, a real-time strategy game set in the American Civil War and one of the victims of Apple’s knee-jerk reaction today.”
When will the layoffs start at the game developer?
More apologists. Russian, North Korea, China, and the Stan countries are cheering.
Apple started the Mac by challenging Big Brother. Now, with this literally Soviet-style erasing of American History, they have officially become Big Brother themselves.
I’d say Steve Jobs is rolling over in his grave, but he’s not - he hosted Bill and Hillary several times at his house. Rather I’d say his corpse has a big fat grin on its face right now. Tim Cook is following his instructions exactly.
I hope this VERY accurate depiction of Gettysburg involves the throwing of 20-sided dice to determine the results of battles and skirmishes ... just like in the actual battle.
I know it isn’t going to make any difference for anyone, but I personally pulled all my auctions from Amazon for one month and have decided not to buy at Walmart or Ebay for one month.
I don’t use Apple so that doesn’t matter. I’m sure they don’t care about such a small user, but I myself really don’t want to use their services right now. I really feel like we are heading into a Fahrenheit 451 time.
Years ago I remember my mother and I discussing how Hucklebury Finn was being censured, which we thought was crazy as Twain was trying to make a point (for a Victorian) on how badly slaves were treated. Taking the n word out actually defeated his purpose. Slowly the whole American experiment of freedom of speech has been slowly being destroyed by political correctness. We have gone from a free people to a people who are being as speech restricted as some of the people we used to pity.
HF was the beginning. Now we are really getting to a Nazi Germany type of restriction on reading. Only if it has to do with sex are the censors going to let it pass.
Just reading a list of the quotes is remarkable.
How about this one:
Coloured people don't like Little Black Sambo. Burn it. White people don't feel good about Uncle Tom's Cabin. Burn it. Someone's written a book on tobacco and cancer of the lungs? The cigarette people are weeping? Burn the book. ― Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
Or this one:
It didn't come from the Government down. There was no dictum, no declaration, no censorship, to start with, no! Technology, mass exploitation, and minority pressure carried the trick, thank God. ― Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
Here's one:
Remember, the firemen (bookburners) are rarely necessary. The public itself stopped reading of its own accord.
School is shortened, discipline relaxed, philosophies, histories, languages dropped, English and spelling gradually neglected, finally almost completely ignored. Life is immediate, the job counts, pleasure lies all about after work. ― Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
And the one that's always made me shudder with Bradbury's prescience:
And in her ears the little Seashells, the thimble radios tamped tight, and an electronic ocean of sound, of music and talk and music and talk coming in, coming in on the shore of her unsleeping mind. The room was indeed empty. Every night the waves came in and bore her off on their great tides of sound, floating her, wide-eyed, toward morning. There had been no night in the last two years that Mildred had not swum that sea, had not gladly gone down in it for the third time. ― Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
Why not replace the Confederate Battle Flag with a temporary substitute? They could also sell the game with the substitute and allow a download that puts the historically accurate flag back into the game - a compromise between historical accuracy and mocking today's pure evil.
just photoshop in the ‘gay rights rainbow flag’ to replace the Confederate flag and resume selling it
