I agree entirely. I’ve worked with Mexicans and you’re right they hate America. They’re only here because they’re too stupid to understand anything at all about how a society based on the rule of law works and know only how to foul their own nest. They’ve turned Mexico into a craphole they can’t run away from fast enough and would rather die than have to go back to. I hate them.
I call it a “turd world country.” I live in San Diego near the border and stay on this side at all times.
Like we don’t have an uneducated and criminal class? Send the population of Baltimore or Chicago into Mexico, and see how they’ll start thinking about America.
Nobody said we don’t have an uneducated and criminal class. But I hope you see a difference between organized crime cartels in Mexico and crime in America. And I hope you don’t buy the argument that Mexico’s drug cartels are all America’s fault. The majority of Americans are not elicit drug users. But I do agree, we are trending the way of Mexico or the Soviet Union.
My only objection is the idea that Mexico is a "third world country" on par with something in Africa or countries like Honduras, where the crime is far worse and poverty far more crushing.
Zero Tariffs gives the advantage to countries with slave level labor costs. That is why China owns us, because Americans buy CHEAP instead of buying QUALITY. WE, the USA, once the leading industrial manufacturing country in the world can’t even build a car or anything else without imported items to go in it. AMERICANS don’t buy MADE IN AMERICA! Look what happened to our Auto industry! WE destroyed it by buying Jap cars.
I work in the auto industry. 60hrs+/wk, mandatory OT since the beginning of January. My plant ships to Mexico, too.
You’re lucky. Think about what Detroit used to look like and what it looks like now. Add to that hundreds of small towns who no longer have manufacturing plants and factories so the streets have turned to dust. It isn’t much, but I’ll only drive an American car. AND I’ll only put American gas in it!
Detroit covers what, 170 square miles? And it’s gentrifying (downtown). When you buy a new car, check the sticker. Some foreign models have more American content than their American counterparts.
