Yet he managed to be worth billions. Learning from mistakes is not a bad thing.

Political Rhetoric of a man who bankrupted his company four times.

Sorry, I had no idea Trump was a failure. Thanks for the hot tip.

I've seen this movie

It was called Ross Perot - take away about 12% of the vote when you declare as an independent and poof - another Clinton

Trump is all about the Trump brand and he has contributed to the Clinton library and foundation

.

I watched every minute of it. And to be honest, I found it hard to watch. I can't believe with all his money he didn't/couldn't hire a speechwriter.

I have no need for any stinking speech writers. lol. I want the real deal, someone with their own thoughts and words.

BTW, I don't watch Rosie.

I don't watch Rosie either, but I do read the news. Apparently this man who wants to be president partook in some juvenile shouting match with her a few years back where there were going back and forth at each other. It was really rather childish and nothing that anyone who ever hoped to one day occupy the White House should ever do. But that's Trump.

And he had better hire a speechwriter. Not having one may appeal to you but I guarantee you it isn't appealing to many.

I don't watch Rosie either, but I do read the news.

Reminds me of an Alice Cooper song. Got no friends cuz they read the papers..

Anyway, this speech got my attention. Enthusiasm, confidence all backed up by massive success.

I urge all to watch this speech.

BTW Elle Bee, it appears you copied and pasted the same thing on another similar thread.

Bet that makes things easy.

Lotta folks want to laugh him off the political stage. Even if he is a shyster in the end (have to see how this campaign plays out) at least he’s putting a voice to outrage over the current state of affairs. It’s a great speech actually.

He reminds me of Obama, if you would have read his book you would have know 100% what was coming dispite his speeches. Thrump is the same way read his book and you will see what he really stands for no matter what he said today.

I still haven’t decided on a candidate - I was gung ho for Walker/Cruz, or Cruz/Walker at first, but then decided to listen to all the candidates before making a decision. The only one I didn’t listen to was Jebeye - can’t stand him. I think Trump is saying what most Americans are saying - and putting our voice and concerns out there. Whether he is serious about staying in the race or not - or whether he can mount some momentum - remains to be seen. For those on the elitist side of the Republican party who are laughing at him - they sure do want his endorsement - don’t they? I think all Republican candidates meet with him at some time during their campaign - I guess they think he is a king maker or they want moolah from him. I hope he keeps shouting this stuff from the housetops until it sinks in to the American public’s skulls and the wishy-squishy Republicans’ brains. Not sure I want him as President - but, he sure couldn’t be worse than what we now have.

A babbling buffoon yelling "Who the hell would vote for him?" and otherwise making a complete fool of himself by showing he has no filters will lose an election. And for that, in this particular case, I am thankful.

My husband and I watched it..........

......I just wanted it all to be true!

The most encouraging ‘political’ speech’ I’ve heard in a long time......straightforward.....simply telling it like it is!!!!

I am fully fed up with politicians who say one thing, and do another.
Trump has such confidence in himself to get things done......he might just do it!

anyone else about the speech

It was excellent. A bit over the top, for sure, but passionate. He discussed solutions, while others take sides when neither "side" will solve the problem. Trump will get more US citizens involved in the dialogue, and more willing to make demands of the DC crowd.

The elite don't get it. US citizens want solutions and controversy and some discussion we're part of. Those who don't want Trump involved don't want US citizenry to wake up.

Personally, I enjoy over-the-top PT Barnum type personalities. That's what the US needs to WAKE UP. JMHO
