This is satire but the real story is actually worse. The kids were shut down for lack of a $150 permit. They (their mom) actually went to the city and got the permit fee waived but they were then told they were subject to inspection by the city health department.

It’s satire in that the quotes are not true. The story itself however, sadly, is very true.
