“Tin Men’’
In an age of literary specialization, Golden has been remarkably prolific. He estimated he had written “over 100” titles, including “The Myth Hunters,” “Wildwood Road,” “The Ferrymen” and many others. He’s also written books for teens and young adults, edited short story anthologies, written comic books, video games, screenplays, online television series and a network television plot.

Saw the trailer. Seems like a terrible remake that should never have been made. Almost parody with Arnold in it.

They ruined X men, Avengers, Wolverine, Robocop, Judge Dredd, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St., Mad Max, Rocky, Aliens and now Terminator. This is what happens when liberals control power. They hire more of their talentless, unimaginative and ruin things. Usually for money while decrying capitalism.

The original movies or comics were fun escapist fare with a little social message thrown in here and there. Today it’s all about agenda as usual, plot lines and cannon destroyed and liberalism in your face at all times.

No fun allowed.

I thought the X-Men films were ok. Especially the ones going back to the past.
Haven’t seen it yet, but all who have seem to think the new Mad Max is kick butt!
JMHO

I was afraid everybody missed that he went out to Pendelton and showed the film to a bunch of Marines for FREE.

Nice job Arnold!

If you enjoyed them, more power to you. I’m an X-men fan going back to the 70s. Had the comics not existed I probably would have liked the movies. But they do exist and they utterly shat over the continuity/canon of 40 years of the comics.

ESPECIALLY the Dark Phoenix/Days of future past story arcs.

When they destroy Rachel Summers/Cable with the Days of Future Present storyline, Excalibur and New Mutants I may actually pull a Bhoner and cry.

I didn’t read the comics back then (I was a Spider-Man, Captain America guy), and I don’t know if you saw the most recent film, but it was called X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Thats what it was ‘called’. It bore little semblance to the actual storyline Days of Future Past in the comic. They used a couple plot points and rewrote the whole scenario around them. But not the same story that made DOFP great to begin with.

Granted, these are comic/comic book movies. But you had near perfection of that in the original Dark Phoenix/DOFP comics. I remember sitting in a theater after the first movie came out and watching with great anticipation. Then the second movie happened. So much for high hopes.
