Mine just turned 250,000 miles...

Congratulations!!! Tell me, what's the secret to have a vehicle last that long? Is it a money pit to keep it going with that many miles on it? If not, what did you do to keep it running?

I typically get rid of my vehicles when they hit 100,000 miles --- which for me is quite a long time since I typically only drive 7.5 miles a day, and my vehicle is parked on weekends.

My 2003 GMC Envoy Denali has ... (Get this) .... 82,000 miles on it. Engine's a 4200 Vortec Inline 6 and it's still quiet and runs like a champ.

beats me.. got it used with 180k after someone hit a deer. All I have been doing is oil changes and regular maintenance. I figure I’ll drive it till something expensive breaks.

I paid 700 bucks for it.

it’s a 2005 Uplander.
