A Perry supporter informed me just last night that, while it might work in San Diego, a border fence wouldn't work in Texas because, "The territory is much different." This is the fencing in Eastern San Diego County. Note how relatively mild the territory is as compared to Texas. /s

Sarcasm aside, the territory IS much different. A river defines the entire border -- from El Paso to Brownsville.

And, as the Israelis have demonstrated, a river calls for a different solution.
