White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett is quietly working behind the scenes to build a coalition of major U.S. corporations to back President Barack Obama’s goal of hashing out a global agreement to cut greenhouse gas emissions at the upcoming United Nations summit in Paris.
The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained a letter that outlines how, by the end of June, Obama is looking to build a coalition of businesses to show support for UN climate talks. After that, the White House will then try to grow this group of businesses to 250 in the run up to the Paris talks this November.
The way the letter is written, it’s likely being circulated by someone or some group on behalf of the White House. The source could not disclose who was circulating the letter on the White House’s behalf, but did confirm the business they work for was approached to support the Paris climate talks.
According to the letter, the White House is asking U.S. businesses “to show support [for] the climate change discussions to take place in late November in Paris.” The letter further states that Jarrett and her staffer Robert Diamond are “working to garner business support through outreach to a number of corporations … with the goal of securing 12 to 15 ‘anchor partners’ by the end of June.”
The letter specifically mentions Cargill, Pepsi, Walmart, Johnson & Johnson, General Electric, Dow Chemical, Google, FedEx and UPS as examples of some of the companies Obama is trying to enlist in his climate coalition.
Each company that joins, however, would be required to sign onto a pledge stating their support for global carbon dioxide emissions reductions. The so-called “American Business Act On Climate Pledge” reads as follows:....

But when faced with questions over whether the U.S. will use its new leadership position to address threats posed by Russia, Kerry said no.

And for good measure, what’s left of the middle class will have to fork over more money to the UN and pay additional ‘taxes and other fees’ on their utility bills for yet undetermined climate change reasons.
And all without any meaningful resistance in the msm, talk radio, or a peep from Congress.

Green Energy is not an Issue that is in the National Interest and the government should be employing its own people (definitely not the EPA or NASA, but possibly a separate Energy Corps) making transparent and much less wasteful usage of the Tax Payers Dollar in its quest for better batteries, solar, wind or water efficient technologies; giving political cronies worldwide, generally socialist private corporations, allows misuse of those funds down the road in the form of campaign contributions. If a corporation takes monies for solar panels and is a essentially a slave to government money in whole, then those type corporations must be allowed to make campaign contributions, nor their owners (these corporations if private must return, say all but 2-3%, of the profit back to the people in the form of restitution. At present the Democrats rely heavily on Government Money sent to Private Owners who in Return sent it back to the Democrat Politicians. This must be outlawed. If outlawed then the question of Green Energy would matter about as much to the Democrats as putting up a Space Station or mankind on both the Moon and Mars.
The political discussion in the World should not be Socialist politicians in social democracies funding their own activities, but a discussion framed on the sound history of the Earth's present, and predictable cooling and warming cycles based on historical and current Solar Studies. The world's Seed Production Corporations should be geared towards providing farmers with Crops and Seeds (also teaching them about the Earth's relationship with the Sun and how it affects not only planting of crops, but our communications transmissions such as the spectrums for cellular, radio, TV, microwave traffic, etc.).
Let me add a bit of history on the Global Cooling and the Mini Ice Ages discussions in the early-mid 1960s, and the establishment of the EPA in 1972 was followed by Global Warming. (So that one might understand I grew up in the household of a carbon research engineer, who among other things was scientifically involved in the discussions of the time). By 1972 or 1973 timeframe, my father told me it was all conjuncture and basically turning into a political hoax. While the true discussions centered on the cooling trend of the time my father has surmised, quite correctly in my opinion, that the temperature data from the 1870s gave us insight to a 24-28 year trends in which Earth was either cooling or warming just enough to be noticeable to folks sitting outside on their porches... RICO laws should be applied in the United States so that no political party should control an industry reliant upon government funding in the form of a campaign contribution source.
"Green Energy" should be a private-industry effort: If it is a positive, they will succeed in-spite of government; If it is a failure, no amount of government subsidization will change that. If Green Energy ends up subsidized by the Government, government workers without unionization, should do the work directly reportable to a committee in the Congress. Not a partisan political issue.

Big Environment has it’s tentacles and hooks in every government agency, in the schools, in business, finance, the media - there isn’t a day that goes by that it doesn’t come up and modify everyone’s day to day behavior (and thoughts) - willingly, or not (probably both).
