Even our recent forefathers were more respectful toward their fellow Americans and didn’t exaggerate much. But they weren’t so European in nature as the current crop of politicos. The religion and culture of our founding fathers were different from those of the Europe they left behind. That’s why they came here.

There's no conspiracy. I'm not paid by anyone to criticize crazy talk or disrespectful insults from counter-culture perspectives. I'm from the Midwest. I'm not a hippy or a pagan. I don't do drugs. That's plain and obvious enough.

I am grateful to those in our armed forces. Anyone who has been in the armed forces knows that they are the only ones wearing real uniforms. Feminists and homo-activists in universities have attempted to subvert our defense, and counter-culture conspiracy theorists are helping them.

But real soldiers, Marines and sailors have dealt with that the best that anyone could. There's the respectable, old fashioned explanation in spite of you implying that I'm one of your perceived "jackboot lickers, saluting anything wearing a uniform."

This is where we part ways. I stopped telling hippies to get haircuts, but that's about as far as I'll compromise.

A smart recruiting agency would put the job posting on as many sites as possible especially if there is a deadline to fill that position by. Yeah CL seems unusual but its not unheard of for job listings to be on there.

The U.S. military has always “operated” within American borders. Where do you think they go to train? The moon? I mean seriously, are military bases such as Ft Hood not within the U.S.? But even on bases as large as Ft Hood training (other than live fire) has its limits. That is why the military sometimes conducts training “off base” so the troops know how to work around population centers much like they had to in Iraq. Military personnel acting as COBs isn’t the same as Joe/Jane Snuffy going about their daily business.

I don’t trust the current administration, but I do trust the military, and the SF types who are going to be part of Jade Helm are of the same caliber as Chris Kyle and Marcus Luttrell.
