Brace yourself. The terms left wing and right wing came to life in Europe during the struggle of Socialism. The left wing represented international Socialism, and right wing represented National Socialism. You remember the big war that was fought between the right wing, Nazis, and the left wing, the Soviet Union. Even at that time there was a Socialist movement occurring in the US that was patterned off of the European Socialist movement of the left, but there was very little going on here that resembled National Socialism. There never has been. The left needed a symbol of right wing Socialism to make people identify with the larger European struggle, even when it was mostly over. Conservatives, and people who want limited, small government, who believe in States rights, and the liberty of the individual, as many bikers may be described, have nothing to do with European Nationalist Socialism. Calling them right wing is meaningless, except to the clowns who don’t recognize what left wing and right wing mean historically. I hope you aren’t one of them.

There is a viable left wing in this country, and it has existed since the left wing started forming in Europe, but there isn’t a viable right wing, certainly not conservatives, Tea Party members and so on, and most likely not bikers.

Chamberland, after making a trip through the Soviet Union, and having been in Germany, concluded there wasn’t a damn bit of difference between to two in results. With that thought, it is interesting to note that Third Way politics championed by the Clintons, and programs like Obamacare, are just modified Fascism. That would imply that the real right wing is coming out of the Socialists in the Democratic Party. It will get here soon enough, without insulting bikers.

Supporters of the King and aristocrats sat on the right side of the Assembly while those who supported the ‘’commoners’’ sat on the left side. Hardly a construction of conservatism, something Hitler despised. In truth the Nazis were Fascists. Fascism is always the softer sell of totalitarianism because it gives the pretense of private ownership. Yes you can own your own factory but we(the state) will control the production process. We will tell what to make, how to make it, what to pay your employees and what you can pay yourself. yes , you can own your own home but we will tell you how your going to live in it. (Shades of Barrack Obama) Communism offers no pretense of private ownership of anything. Everything belongs to the state. "From each according to his abilities to each according to his need''. What both have in common is they do not allow the private(freedom) of thoughts and speech. The Nazis first fought the Communists on the streets of Germany for power. They fought the Soviet Union for the same reason. The Reds had stated they intended to rule the world under the Commintern. The Nazis said they would rule the world under the banner of National Socialism. They were two scorpions in a bottle.
