I would hope MOST families, after REPEATED incidents of big brother Josh sneaking into his little sisters’ bedrooms (Joy Duggar was FIVE!!!) that the parents would REMOVE the perpetrator from the home. Immediately. Send him to a grandparent, an adult (read child free) relative or trusted friend, while similtaneously getting ALL of the affected children counseling.
It seems the Duggars did nothing til “summer” when Josh was sent “off” to the hard labor of tract home building. How many more trips down the hall did Josh make while his parents were comtemati get their TV deal?

At least, his sisters were subjected to a trial and grilling by CPS.
I doubt his time or experience in juvenile detention would have been anymore helpful than being sent off to remodel homes.
