On Monday, actress Rose McGowan offered an apology of sorts after trashing Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, over a false quote about Josh Duggar. McGowan, known for her contribution to independent films, went ballistic over the false quote, calling Cruz a "blight on the soul of humanity" and told him to "get off of my planet."
According to Snopes, an anti-conservative group claimed that several conservative politicians, including Cruz, allegedly defended Duggar after he admitted to molesting underage girls. The group published an Internet meme falsely claiming Cruz said: "While there may have been an age difference, Josh Duggar's transgressions are far less an affront to God than what gays do with each other."

After being called out for presenting the false quote as true, McGowan backed down with an apology that was just as hateful as her original statement. "I'm sorry I said #TedCruz liked child molesters. Ok? No go back to hating gays," she said in a tweet that closed with a profanity

I have Facebook friends who have fallen for the most outrageous, often vulgar, memes about conservatives. It’s not that the memes are especially clever or subtle. It’s just that these people really, really want them to be true.
Perhaps the only thing you can say to embarrass a leftist filled with one of the seven deadly sins is to remark how they don’t seem to participate as much in another of the deadly sins.
For them, it is like sins are sacrament.
