The biggest changes for the better have been in the midwest. At this point our biggest problems are within the GOP itself and that’s a national problem.

I think many Republican leaders are in collusion with the Democrats at the highest levels of government. They all feed and benefit from the same political feedlot. It may explain why so many of us shake our heads when we see the leaders of the party capitulate so many times to the left on every issue. I could be way off base here, but when I listen and see the establishment in the media they don’t have the same amount of frustration and anger so many of us here at the grassroots level have at the left. They’re always looking for some kind of consensus and bipartisanship regardless of the fact that it’s always conservatives who are forced to give in to liberal policies and politicians. It just makes me suspicious of our leadership.
