I got laid off at 25. I slept and ate and drank booze all day in the basement and within 4 days my crying mother called my brother, my insane Italian uncles and everyone showed up.
One broken window and one bleeding head and one day later I was driving a cab six nights a week 12 hours a day. Went on later to learn computers.

Nothing promotes job-growth like burning down businesses
Hey, I’ve got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need some government programs to assist poor people with jobs and job training!!!!!! MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why has nobody thought of this before?
Baltimore city has its own minimum wage called the ‘living wage’ of $12.50 per hour, almost three times the Maryland state minimum wage of ~ $9.50 per hour.
$12.50 an hour for someone with no work experience and no HS degree? And probably been arrested?

Baltimore also spends more per student on education then all other states except NY City.
So the jobs, the education, and all this nonsense that’s being spewed are for political posturing and revenue flows to increase.....uneffective in the communities. They are never intended for that.

If I was unemployed, my parents would also have utilized certain “incentives” to get me off my fat rear to get a job. Old school Germans and Italians. Excuses didn’t work with them.
while driving the cab my aunt told me of a five thousands dollar grant towards computers for under and unemployed. only four people showed up lol. on any given day you can see hundreds of black guys hanging around bodegas talking about how tough they are and how long they were in prison.

I took 300 hours in Microsoft office and typing. Went on to working in presentations centers and making a very nice living.
I wanted a nice car a nice apartment. That’s what these guys don’t get.
And I would say maybe half or less of the people in the class were ever going to use those skills. A lot of drug addicts and delinquents.
I hope it id turn their lives around .
I was SO excited about learning that after my 12 hour cab shift I used to RUN to the train station I was so eager.
Getting an education is “acting white.” Not getting an education leaves you with no marketable job skills, dooming you to menial labor type jobs. And then your “messiah” comes along and opens the floodgates, letting illegal aliens by the score into this country. Guess who is now getting those menial jobs because they will work for slave wages? Get into a decent school, get your education, don’t become a parent until you have the income needed to be one. Walk away from the Democrats who have been playing you like a grand piano for the last 50 years.
