A nineteen year-old knows that murder is wrong.

It's not about him or his rehabilitation. It's about punishment for the murders he committed. For those, he deserves execution.
Also, I wouldn't waste time expecting a hate-filled Muslim lunatic to suddenly be filled with remorse for killing infidels.
Just a typical teenager who plants a bomb 3 feet behind an 8-year old boy, his sister and parents.
