The Revolver of Reason vs. The Pen of Progressivism

Any mass shooting in America, let alone a single murder, is without a doubt a grotesque reminder of the evil that lurks in our communities. However, as much as I unconditionally grieve for the victims and their families, I refuse to blame an inanimate object rather than the actual lawbreaker. Liberals live to shamelessly politicize such tragedies – immediately blaming the NRA or Tea Party – hoping our Second Amendment rights will be ripped away by an inescapable vacuum of mass hysteria and mob justice. The same Constitutional terrorists who can’t keep gangs off the streets, or drug dealers out of our schools, would leave “We the People” at the mercy of thugs and lowlife opportunists, not to mention vulnerable to government tyranny; Thomas Jefferson’s most profound reason for preserving our right to bear arms. Disarming the populace is the final lynch pin in securing uncontested subjugation.

Contrary to leftist fodder, defending gun rights isn't about big trophy hunting or drunken rednecks shooting at watermelons. It's necessity is born from one immutable truth: human beings still die at the same hands of oppression, hate, as they did in 1776. The real tragedy in this endless debate is that the media never reports how often firearms save lives, feed families, foil crimes, and safeguard freedom around the globe. I could not imagine lying awake at night, knowing my family was at the mercy of some deranged intruder and that I was powerless to protect them. I’m an American, a patriot, a law abiding citizen, and there’s a reason why I keep a Glock 20 beside my bed: I refuse to be a statistic like the politically correct dead. And just in case you wanted one, over 80 million gun owners did not commit a crime last night. You do the math.

In this New World Order where logic is as impressionable as Silly Putty, I'm still waiting for the MSM to report the soft drink industry shares a high degree of culpability in gun violence. This is how utterly ridiculous and irreconcilable American politics has become. These insufferable hacks would have you believing pens misspell words and that alcohol drives unsuspecting liberals named Ted off bridges if it meant preserving their backwards, victimization ideology. It's not about the truth, the heartbreak, or the victims; it's only about how sensationalism can be spun into a perceived gain for a political agenda. Regardless of any perpetrator’s political affiliations or beliefs, I would simply chalk it up as a horrendous crime committed by a disturbed individual. It is highly irresponsible to blame guns, the Second Amendment, or any political party for the indiscretions of the few. Individuals are accountable, not stereotypes.

Despite swearing an oath to defend our Constitutional liberties, countless Democrats freely admit they would outlaw firearms in a heartbeat if given the opportunity. My response? Until the day comes you can guarantee every single criminal is stripped of every possible conceivable weapon, that our government will never abuse its power and usurp our freedoms, that you can prove no one uses a rifle to provide food for their family, or you find the necessary votes to amend the Constitution of the United States, don't waste my time! And even if by some miracle those improbable events do converge, my answer is still, "Hell No!" Because human nature will never change – the vain, political and criminal aspirations of mankind – neither will the need for the Second Amendment. My God given rights, my right to self-preservation, do not require your validation or permission. Besides, your pen would probably just misspell my name. There's no asterisk in freedom.

“It will be found an unjust and unwise jealousy to deprive a man of his natural liberty upon the supposition he may abuse it.” ~George Washington

You have to ask yourself, what is it they'd do to you after disarming you that they couldn't do before?

History has answered that question many times over.

blame an inanimate object rather than the actual lawbreaker

That's what liberals do. They need to replace Jesus in absolving man's sins.

Perhaps we have a culture problem?

A “No consequences” society.

Kill the baby,
Assisted suicide,
Destruction of the Family,
Gay Marriage,
Hide Christianity from public view and pretend there is no “right” or “wrong”, unless the PC police say so.

It would be nice if we stood up and told the truth.

95% of all the killings in America are done by the Lefty fascists, Marxists, communists and socialists. Their nemesis, the Christians and conservatives, are not the problem and never have been.

Then you can look at the Liberal free shoot zones imposed by Liberals, in places like Chicago and in all school zones and you guarantee funerals galore. Hells bells, you can map it.
