According to the April 9 political cartoon in The Daily Record, Sen. Ted Cruz, who is seeking the Republican nomination for President, is far right. The cartoon was mocking Cruz, but as a matter fact, Cruz is right.
What is the definition of right? For Christians, the Bible defines what is right and wrong. For Americans, our United States Constitution defines what is legal and illegal.
If government follows neither, then who determines what is right and wrong? Do those in power make the determination depending on how they will benefit?
For Senator Ted Cruz, the basis for what is right and wrong and legal or illegal is our Constitution and the Bible.
He has been a student of the Constitution ever since high school. He gave over 70 speeches on the Constitution across Texas while in high school. After graduation from Princeton University, attorney Cruz became solicitor general in Texas. As part of his work he wrote 70 briefs for and argued nine cases before the United States Supreme Court.
His unusual TV ad, promoting Cruz for the nomination for president, included who Sen. Cruz is, his wife, his two young daughters and the background which shaped his character. He is upfront about his Christianity. The ad included Ted and his wife saying grace with the children at their table.

These liberals, socialists and communists, especially the Lame Stream Media AND the REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT, will do any thing and every thing to throw dust in people’s eyes and confuse these LOW INFORMATION voters in to suspecting that Cruz is not prepared to be president. If you will all notice, they are scared to death to face Cruz on a one to one debate. Simply because the all believe that Cruz would make mince meat out of each of them.

Glad you included the EST Repubs. They are more scared than the lefties.
I remember back in 1979, when Reagan started to gain traction as potential presidential material. I’ve got that same feeling about Cruz.. His association with Hollywood and the media isn’t there as it was with Reagan, but otherwise it sure does look and feel like the same humble beginnings.
I agree. Cruz is a Texas Reagan. Hard to beat that.
