In a flight from Tulsa to Atlanta, I sat next to a petroleum Engineer. We talked about petroleum the whole time and it was actually one of the most interesting subjects I ever recall.
He really knew his stuff too.
Purty on several levels.
I always admired Doolittle I seem to remember reading somewhere that he told his men “I got you into this mess, so I’ll take off first.” By going first he had the least room for take off. God Bless them all.
