They found the FDR only yesterday or the day before. It confirms what was learned from the CVR and provides additional detail, such as his exact settings on the autopilot, etc.
Reportedly, they also found a cell phone memory chip which turned out to contain a video of the crash. Just before the video ends, there is a jolt, and the cabin lurches violently. So, it's likely a wing hit first, just before the main part of the airplane hit the rocks. Perhaps the FDR data will confirm that sequence of events.
It's probably true about the cell phone, and others may come to light although if your are a passenger in a life-ending panic, maybe the last thing most people would think of was making a video. It's good for history accuracy if one did though.
