Yet the strategists will not relent because they see Christianity as their entrenched enemy.

Most leftists will not admit that they view Christianity as their enemy. yet.
We need to understand that whether they admit it or not,
this is the goal - extermination.

“There is no biological, physical evidence of “gay” DNA or other non-experience-based triggers for same-sex orientation.”

Some of that is by design. If they find a gay DNA marker, we would be able to determine who is gay and who is not. What if we find that Elton John or George Michaels or whoever don’t have this marker? That would lead down the path to “chosen lifestyle” which eliminates civil rights.

Or perhaps they would get to decide who is Christian (which we are seeing now).
In their eyes, the only Christians are the ones supporting adultery, fornication and other types of acceptable sin.

That’s the Great Apostasy that’s coming.
“Christianity” that supports everything anti-Christian will be “tolerated”,

all others will be exterminated (if we’re still here).

Gays want to destroy Christianity just as much as do Muslims.

The acceptance of the argument that a genetic predisposition toward, or even a genetic determinant of, homoerotic desires would mean “God made people ‘gay’” is not a Christian position. Christian anthropology begins with Man made in the image and likeness of God, and continues with the Fall. The Fall disordered all creation, and there is no reason to think that this disorder is not to be found in the genome of fallen humanity — indeed the Augustinian conception of Original Sin, which as an Orthodox Christian I don’t accept, believing in the more nuanced notion of Ancestral Sin and the disordering of the passions set forth by the Greek Fathers, explicitly holds that sin, which is not the work of God, is inherited — each of us being born with particular besetting temptations.

That one is born with a genetic predisposition to acquisitiveness does not absolve him in advance of theft, that another is born with a genes that ensure she will have a bad temper does not mean that wrath is not a sin. No more does being born with either a predisposition or a genetic constellation that guarantees homoerotic desire mean that the condemnations of homoeroticism both in the Old Covenant Law and the letters of St. Paul are somehow invalid.

Can we please quit using that archaic, outdated term ‘gay’ and revert back to the original, uncorrupted term ‘queer’. I think that this would help placate many hurt feelings.

and it would be repugnant to look at it as a disease like Leukemia or a genetic disorder like Downs Syndrome.

Really? Why is that? Its an illness...its a defect...its a disordered mind...whatever it is, it is NOT normal and the louder they insist its normal the more you KNOW its not.

Did God say, "TOLERATE HOMOSEXUALS." ?
No!.
He did NOT !
This is what we get when we FAIL to OBEY God.
For it is written: Those who support homosexuals are against our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
These anti Christ people only bring destruction on us ALL.
I have NO sympathy for homosexuals!

Homosexuality is a "Mark" of disobedience.
Someone once asked The answer is in the definition of "REPROBATE". And the reason"why" is given in the Bible.

God has a cure for homosexuals.

"Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect
that God is just,
that his justice cannot sleep forever."

But allow me to frame your statement in terms of presuppositions. If you believe any prayer to change your sexual orientation is fruitless, then it must follow that you believe that prayer has limits—that certain miracles do not, and cannot occur, such as gay people becoming straight. It must also follow that you believe that there’s no natural way for a gay person to become straight.

An excellent article, but it contains a few - albeit: very subtle - fallacious arguments.

1. There are indeed some limits to prayer, namely: logical as well as moral limits. (In fact, there are even logical and moral limits to God's power - including His power to answer prayer). Thus, it would be against the Natural Order to pray, e.g., that two plus two should equal five; and it would be immoral to pray that someone else should suffer a painful death.

It seems to me that praying to God that someone should be purified of his natural predisposition to Sin (e.g., the Sin of Lust - be it heterosexual or homosexual) would probably be either illogical or immoral. In any event, such prayer is probably "fruitless."

The grandfather might pray that his grandson be given the strength to resist temptation; that would certainly be acceptable.

Regards,

Knowing what is normal vs. common is first step. The parts don’t fit in homosexual acts. Having homosexual attractions is common, but not normal. If just let attraction go without acting on it (uncommon these days) then attractions eventually can diminish.(normal). Let’s hear the whining from the libertinescommon, but not normal).

Good point. Here is my feeling about the LGBT community. I feel about them the way I feel about murderers, theives, arsonists, pedophiles, etc. Do what you want to do - away from me. God will judge you at the end. If I so happen to run across any of these deviants - yes, that is what I consider all what I mentioned above - than I will do what I can to try to stop them - mostly, contact law enforcement and say a crime is being committed.

But am I to understand you that I am suppose to actually hunt out those in the LGBT community and harm to them? Shame them? By my being silent and waiting for God to handle them, are you saying I am compliant with their lifestyle and support what they do?

In the 20th century it was well known that nearly all gays were the result of being raped as children, usually a family member or trusted friend of the family.

Since this started when they were young children, it feels to the gay person that they’ve always been that way.

Currently half of all child rapes committed in the US are committed by gays. Expect this number to increase.

Thanks for the comment... It’s not a false statement to make a logical argument that if someone believes they can’t be changed by God that they believe prayer has limits...without admitting whether it has limits or not (in other words, I’m not implying prayer has no limits).

Take it easy on me. Pretend I’m new to this. Are you saying that God says I have to go out and challenge the LGBT community? That if I do not, I am guilty of their sin also?
