Thus is not the main university in College Station. It’s one of the colleges in the system, and the other colleges are very different.
The Aggies are consistently ranked as the most conservative public university in the country. From personal experience visiting College Station many times, I know this is true. The Corps of Cadets still shapes and governs the student body.
To the extent there has been a change over the past 10 years, it has been a slight shift from conservatism to a right wing flavor of small “L” libertarianism.
What happens on a satellite campus doesn’t reflect Aggie values, just as UT Austin is very different from satellite campus UT Arlington.
