The Earth is not in peril, only the truth and common sense are.
The annual calendar is filled with days and months designated for the purpose of calling attention to some event, personality, or cause. The U.S. celebrates the birthdays of Lincoln and Washington that fall close together. Theres Mothers and Fathers Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day, Valentines, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas.
But who decided that April was Earth Month or that April 22 is Earth Day?
Why are we expected to worship the planet that was here billions of years before we showed up and will likely be here long after we manage to destroy ourselves with cataclysmic wars. And it is worship that is at the heart of these two events. That alone should tell you how essentially pagan they are.

No worries. I plan to be pretty wasteful this month(April). Just to make up for the assclowns that do buy algores glow-bull discombobulation theory.
This year is the 45th anniversary of earth day.
Can’t wait until 2020, when we have the 50th anniversary. Which the left will pump up and go all out to push global warming, I’m sure.
It’s funny to see the enviro-extremists. Taking the long view, we have done a great deal to clean up the environment in the last 50 to 60 years. Industrial pollution has been greatly reduced. Cars produce far fewer emissions than they did decades ago.
Yet the enviro-extremists who are bitching about global warming act as if none of the previous efforts at reducing pollution ever happened. They advocate draconian actions without regard for cost/benefit review of what they want to see happen.
And, even though these liberal enviro types tend to be irreligious, they actually worship global warming and have a religious faith in that movement. They take things on faith alone, worship the words of Al Gore, etc. in a religious manner. They don’t see the irony.
Don’t be a blog pimp fool.
I consider it my sacred duty to burn a tire in observance of every designated Earth Hour, Earth Day, Earth Month, etc.
My kids went to school last year on earth day and said “I don’t celebrate the birthday of communists”.
the first “Earth Day” April 22, 1970
The 100th anniversary of Lenin’s Birth was April 22, 1970.
Is there any doubts about the origins of this nonsense was in the KGB? Foisted upon the USA by U.S. Sen. Gaylord Nelson D-Wisc and communist sympathizer.
“Earth Day co-founder killed, composted girlfriend...”
