Sarah Palin is an outspoken proponent of gun owners rights, but are her gun-friendly grandchildren at risk? After Bristol Palins fiancé, Dakota Meyer, and her baby daddy, Levi Johnston, both came under fire for posting photos of children with guns, RadarOnline.com spoke with the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. A spokesperson warned the families that this is a teachable moment and they have a responsibility not to promote an attitude of recklessness.

I’m quite sure the Palin children have a better
education and respect for firearms that any of
the Brady brood or their mindless followers.
The liberals care so much about the Palins’ safety.
Pray America is waking
And what part of MEDAL OF HONOR do they not understand?
Hmmm, seems none of the Palin children have shot each other.
My family had dozens of guns in the “gun closet”, ammo sitting on accompanying shelves. Not locked. Ever.
Many children there every weekend. All knew to not touch the guns until they were trained...and given their own gun.
Somehow, we, like the Palins never had an accident.
Go figure.
Oh, forgot, liberals aren’t very trainable.
And their kiddies are even less so.
Yeah ... and when I want to learn about free markets, I read Das Kapital.
Not.
Does that pistol appear loaded to you without a magazine? Do you believe that that youngster could rack the slide?
You wouldn’t like my house.
From the photo, you can’t tell if there’s a magazine in the pistol.
Are there toddlers running around your house?
Sure you can. We already had this discussion a week or so ago:

Isn’t Dakota Meyer a Medal of Honor recipient....in this age of ISIS targeting US military on the home front, Mr. Meyer had better be armed 24/7, as he is a high profile target.
When I was a child, we had an open closet with firearms and ammo inside. None of us 'messed with' the arms, and no one got shot.
How one is raised seems to be the major factor.
Now just grandkids but is was the same when mine we toddling. They are taught early on about touching one and they are never left alone to run the house.
“A spokesperson warned the families...”
The Palins should warn the Brady Campaign to GFY.
OMG, I’ve heard that guns can lift themselves up on their own, but this is the first time I’ve seen a picture of one doing that. Notice how it floats above the baby’s head. I keep watching, expecting it to turn around and face the child. If it does, I plan to cover my eyes, before it fires itself.
I was raised in a family with open gun racks and ammo. When my kids were little the guns were locked away. When they were old enough to know better the guns have come out again.
My brother freaked out when he heard that. (I listened politely - he is my older brother).
“Well, dad left all of his guns out with us stupid kids - and we never shot anybody.”
(Funny - I WAS stupid and did stupid things. But never with a gun. Cars, gasoline, bow and arrow, M-80’s, etc. - yes. But never guns.)
One of only several living post 9/11 recipients. I don’t think ISIS would be as interested in a Vietnam era MOH recipient, do you?
With the exception of kids bedrooms/baths, there is one within 20 feet or so of where you stand/sit in any room.
Case and point the wife unit had two backwards cap wearing Obama sons come to the door yesterday while I was out trying to sell her magazines. After she told them no, they wanted to come in and get a drink, then the restroom. Very persistent. As she closed the door one of them tried to move toward the door only to be met by our Czech Shepard. They left and she called the sheriff. Had I been home it would have been an ambulance as I have one on my person 24/7. And we live in the country so to speak.
