Google set to gobble you up:

In the online digital world we have been googling everyone and every thing. But long before the means of our eventual capture crawled under the gate on its belly, we should have been googling—-Google.

The mighty corporate techie giant with assets of $131 billion has nestled so long among us it is almost like family.

Website owners tell people who want things removed off the net: “No can do ‘cause Google is forever”.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rocked the online world world when its 313-page ‘Net Neutrality’ initiative was revealed last month. But in reality, Net Neutrality was devised not by FCC but by Google.

When Net Neutrality was still a twinkle in Father FCC’s eye, Google was already killing the traffic of all websites including world Internet giant, Drudge.

Don’t use Google! Or Gmail. Use Ixquick for searches. It’s quite private! No cookies, no tracking your IP.
https://www.ixquick.com

Find a different mail server! Gotta friend who used one from Germany.

Montgomery Ward was once a top department store in America. Sears, Macy’s, K-Mart, J.C. Penney, all once were dominant companies. TWA and Pan Am once dominated the airline industry. Standard Oil and US Steel, what happened to them? Anyone remember railroads? IBM? Well, guess what? Google, Facebook and WalMart will all go the same way someday.

I thought it was Microsoft who was the evil, hated enemy of Mankind. I’m way behind. LOL.

Micro$oft has actually started to play nice with the open source community. At first their overtures were met with great scepticism, an there remain many sceptics in the open source nation to this day.

However, Microsoft recently put their .net web development api into open source. A phenomenal gesture.

Meanwhile, Google pretends to play well with the open source community only to take advantage of them and build demographic dossiers to sell to their advertisers.

It used to be “just business”, but it transcended that some time ago.

Thank you for the ixquick link. I thought they were out of business, thankful to see them "up and running".

I also thank God for Free Republic and Jim Robinson. It is one of the few Web sites left where one can still find the truth and accurate information the "gate keepers," the "press" and the MSM don't want people to know or find out about.
