Normalcy Bias I see it often. Since it has never happened to me it won’t ever happen.
I also see it all the time. The scariest part of SHTF will be the idiots.
Hurricanes have a way of bringing out the stupid in people.
Nothing is more bizarre than listening to the people that will call a radio station right in the middle of a hurricane, over 100mph winds blowing, and complain that their power is off and no one is trying to fix it.
Idiots yes.
Scarier are the ones who just can’t wait to start looting and destroying people and stuff.
