If this is just about nuclear plants to generate electricity, why isn’t Kerry pushing windmills?

This disturbs me greatly as well. It makes zero sense for people who have for years been anti-nuclear weapons and anti-nuclear energy to come out swinging in defense of a foreign nation and their right to build a nuclear program.

The only way it makes sense is if they are working FOR that foreign nation. There is no other reasonable explanation.

What can I say, I voted for Childers this past November. I am through with Cochran, Wicker, Bryant, Reeves, Nosef etc...

I couldn't make myself pull the lever for Childers even though I really wanted Thad out. I ended up doing a "waste" vote by writing in McDaniel.

Nice histrionics - many of us voted for either the Dem or wrote in McDaniel (I did the write in) and were overwhelmed by the Barbour machine in cahoots with the Democrats. What would you have done different since you was telling us how bad we needed to torch him?

You did all you could do. The problem was that we couldn't convince enough people to toss Cochran to the wolves. Too many people have a visceral reaction to the concept of voting for a Democrat.

As I have tried to point out many times, there are WORSE things than letting a Democrat take a seat. Letting Race bating tactics used by our side succeed, is one of those worse things. We just couldn't convince enough people to destroy that traitor.

Voters are mislead by the news, the entertainment industries, and by the colleges.

We tried to convince people 50 years old and up that Cochran was not good for the country. They called us stupid and uninformed. Their is no overcoming that.

If I had a nickle for every time someone told me "You don't understand" something, i'd be richer than Bill Gates. The problem is, I generally do understand, and more often see farther than they.

People who ponder this sort of thing realize that Cochran is part of the old guard establishment which simply doesn't want to rock the Crony Capitalist boat. Well the boat needs rocking. Indeed, our very future depends on wrecking the existing kickback structure and replace it with one that has the best interests of the Whole Nation at stake.

The Repubs Who Fought Chris McDaniel in Mississippi, Tried to Use Mike Huckabee Against Ted Cruz ‎1‎/‎26‎/‎2016‎ ‎8‎:‎23‎:‎55‎ ‎PM · by Syncro · 13 replies theresurgent ^ | January 26, 2016, 03:00pm | By Erick Erickson |

The Republicans Who Fought Chris McDaniel in Mississippi, Tried to Use Mike Huckabee Against Ted Cruz This is a fascinating article that shows just how much contempt for Ted Cruz the Republican Establishment has. They absolutely hate the guy.In fact, Henry Barbour, who helped scuttle conservatives in Mississippi in the race between Chris McDaniel and Thad Cochran, tried to raise money for a Mike Huckabee supporting super PAC for the sole purpose of attacking Ted Cruz. Mr. Barbour was so exasperated by the intra-establishment combat that this month he sought to raise money for the super PAC supporting Mike Huckabee...
