PETA President: Women are Pretty Much Chickens
Pundit Press ^ | 3/10/15 | Aurelius

PETA is equating women to chickens in their latest article on their website. The piece, called “Do Women Make Better Animal Rights Activists,” argues that women make better advocates for animals than men and that women share certain traits with animals.

The article explains that men are often told to hide their emotions, giving women the ability to voice their concerns more profusely than men. And women should, because they are very similar to chickens and other animals.

“Having been subjected to discrimination, oppression, and violence throughout the ages simply because of their gender,” the piece explains, “women can easily relate to the plight of animals, who are exploited simply because of the number of legs, fins, or wings they possess.”

PETA President Ingrid Newkirk is then quoted as saying, “Discrimination is discrimination, and it’s wrong, whether you’re a woman or a chicken.

“And the poor chickens, the non-humans,” she continues, “don’t have an ability to fight for themselves. No one even notices, at all, what they’re going through. It’s not as if they’re just denied property rights, which women were, it’s that they’re denied their very life.”

She continues, “Their reproductive systems, of course, are used against them for eggs and milk and so on, so yes, I relate, as a woman, so strongly to animals.”

Well then!

A) We should be good stewards, because it’s what God told us to do, besides that it’s only sensible to stamp out needless cruelty since that sort of thing grows like a cancer.

B) Chickens are nasty petty beasts, so what is this fluffy headed individual trying to say here exactly?

Maybe that's why I heard a brother say in an old episode of The Dating Game "I've seen better legs in a bucket of chicken!"

There’s a “big breasts and fatty thighs” punchline in there somewhere...

I wonder. We have as a society said there are no standards and that anything goes. We used to have standards, heros, and role models, now we have endlessly relitigated political correctness. The former inspired us to be better people, the latter angers and causes fear because there is no rhyme or reason, it’s all based upon emotions, it’s the surrender of rationality to groupthink done on purpose and enshrined.

So is it any wonder why this animal rights activist is flailing about trying to justify a moral issue by way of PC?

I guess Ingie is feeling the love from animal activists who are fed to the gills with her habit of siphoning off millions upon millions of dollars the feeling class donates to save the “little puppies and kitties”. PETA’s history of euthanizing almost every hapless animal that falls into its clutches is reaching across social media, buoyed by euthanization statistics gathered by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Tsk, tsk.

So, is she now throwing her slimy hat into the women’s rights arena, because the flood of cash she’s used to is drying up?

So? In the past girls have been referred to as “chicks” in the USA and “Birds” in Britain.

In a bizarre example of survival strategy chickens, turkeys, pigs, beef and dairy cattle and sheep are over represented among animal species by a factor of 10 to a 100 because we raise and protect them.

To a point.

Chickens, not hens.

Hen vs.chicken.
Here's an explanation by way of analogy to human beings:
Person-----Woman-----Man------Baby
Chicken----Hen--------Rooster ---Chick

A chicken may be either male or female. A hen may only be an adult female. A young female chicken is called a "pullet."

gratuitous Beavis and Butthead reference

Oh, this woman...

PETA equates eating Thanksgiving turkeys with eating human babies
Newkirk has a odd take on human offspring, viewing them as idols created of oneself. According to Monsters and Critics:
For Newkirk, the crucial stake is always the animals – endangered and voiceless. Newkirk won’t own any pets, long ago gave up on her “lovely marriage” (“I just honest to god didn’t have time for it”), and had herself sterilized at the age of 22, as she determined then that “there was something wrong with wanting your own child,” coming up with a mirror of yourself when there were plenty of children who needed homes.
An atheist, Newkirk reasons that “the horrors in this world could never have been created by a loving god.”
