She stated she couldn’t remember name of the president but she sure liked his wife. So they asked her the wife’s name. She smiled and said “Mrs Bush!”
I wrote Barbara telling her and she sent mom the sweetest hand written note

I believe it. My folks met her at a Navy function once and said she was warm and completely unpretentious.
