There’s little doubt that most of America’s leaders would benefit from intense psychiatric care. Lobotomy, anyone?
You really know the world is wonky when top-level US Government officials like Marie Harf, the State Department’s deputy spokesperson, suggest that America is unable to stop terrorism and that instead we need to examine the “root causes” that create this turmoil in the first place. Harf stated that, “We cannot kill every terrorist around the world, nor should we try.” Why not? I’m reasonably certain that ISIS is taking a polar opposite view and would be delighted to kill each and every non-believer on the planet.
It’s those darned “root causes” that always seem to keep us from turning swords into plowshares or keep the lambs from sleeping with the lions.
Or maybe it’s just that the liberal elites have gotten so nuanced that they see things the rest of us are incapable of seeing. You know, like when someone is hallucinating during a psychotic episode, just before the white-coated men wrap them in padded restraints and lock them into a rubber room?

This is of course an apt description of most of the Obama sycophants. It is their resume enhancer. If you look at Harf's background she is perfectly explainable. The faculty lounges of the nation are on display daily. God save the Republic.

This is stupid, irrelevant statement. We didn't have to kill every single German or every sinsgle Japaneese to win WWII. No war ever required killinlg every single one of the enemy to win the war.

Marie Harf is right.
Congress needs to pass a ‘job’s program’ for our enemy Islamic terrorists to win their ‘hearts and minds’.
Surely they could generate infrastructure like our roads and bridges and green energy using products.

Marie insightfully discerned that ISIS immolaters didn't "feel good" about themselves.
Plus Marie KNEW from her U of Va graduate studies that having self-esteem is crucial to making life choices.
So Marie went to work---she began gift-wrapping monogrammed Zippo lighters to ISIL immolaters.
Marie herself attached State Dept happy face gift tags to each Zippo.
A conservative then counters with the question: what if kindness and understanding and getting at those root causes doesn't work? The liberal is totally unshaken. There is no plan B. He or she simply repeats the mantra of using more kindness, understanding, and getting at those root causes as the answers.
Like when their grandiose plans to solve poverty requiring billions or trillions don't work, they just say they need more money. Then they'll work. That's when conservatives start tearing the hair out of their heads.
To me a terrorist is a shovel ready job.
But how do we put them to work to keep them off the street?
Also, universal pre-K for their kids would help.
Teach them to be good global citizens and vote like our American kids do.
Even better for junior, see what replaced the toy gun his grand-dad used to play with?
And the Islamic State is just performing low lobotomies at the neck.

Pretty much any situation you look at, look for Zero’s stand, and the opposite one is what would likely be the correct one.
