I'm old enough to remember an ad (was it IBM’s?) from the late 1960s/early 1970s with the tag line “Let’s get rid of the girl.” The message was that men should treat women in the workforce with respect, and give due credit for their performance.
Fast-forward forty-some years and we’re now surrounded by “girls”.
The execrable HBO series Girls, about four young women in their mid-twenties with no apparent means of support and zero sense of responsibility (but great sense of entitlement) created, written and starring child abuser Lena Durham. Dunham, as you may recall, was on YouTube comparing voting for Obama to losing your virginity a few years ago.
Jen Psaki, the spokesperson for the United States Department of State and former spokesperson for U.S. President Barack Obama. Psaki apparently lives by the promise of hashtag, so of course why shouldn’t Vladimir Putin roll back his aggression after seeing this?

This is often the word women use to describe themselves, women of all ages, from my observation. Will ‘girls’ soon be referred to as ‘the G word’, just as we now have adults using the superficial term ‘The ‘N” word? I hope not.
Ditto for all the little boys in their baseball caps, baggy shorts and flip flops.
The Russians have a ball making fun of this ‘girl’.
Part of the reason is not nice, because Jen Psaki is of Polish heritage. I think Poland was at one time a Soviet run territory. The other reason is that Jen has a yen for making vacuous, assinine, ridiculous statements. Her Hashtag Diplomacy does nothing to promote confidence in the Administration.
Doesn't work too well for alleged "spokespersons", though.

Harf and Psaki are decent looking women and they are the types that we would get drunk, fornicate, and leave ASAP.
You wanted your friends to see you with them...just not allow them to speak to your friends lest they embarrass you.
I’m afraid we live in idiocracy. Obama is both evil and stupid; he can only destroy not build. Great leaders achieve influence and power through achievement and the betterment of the institutions they are part of or lead, this is not Obama. Like all narcissist he surrounds himself with idiots like Psaki because his dim radiance must be brighter than all those he surrounds himself with. Obama will not and cannot surround himself with people of integrity because a grifting communist organizer needs the flaws and skeletons of his army of flying monkeys in order to control them. Psaki is a vacuous tool with no moral compass.
I’m trying to imagine how these people were interviewed. How were they seen as ‘having the qualities we need’?
I see one possible scene, with Valarie Garrett interviewing Jen Psaki; 1. “So how would you describe the Top Ten Most Disgusting things you have ever purposely done? Please state, define, and elaborate in detail.”
2. If you came into the Oval Office for a late evening meeting, and saw the President dressed as the First Lady, and the First Lady dressed as the President, and if was nowhere near Halloween, what would your responses be? Please state, define and elaborate in detail.”
