It’s blatant pay to play.
A Republican with a slush fund like this would have already been brought up on charges - tied up in court for as long as possible, on any technicality, on the slightest perception of campaign finance impropriety - run out of politics.
But the Left leaves liberals alone - gives them a free hand, they are “blind” to progressive corruption.
Hitlary has been avoiding the lime light for a while and I expect her to continue for a while before making any announcements toward being POTUS. With all that new funding coming in, she will not be wasting any until the field narrows when, she will have plenty of cash to wage war against any challengers facing her.
