ACTION NEEDED TO CONTINUE FINANCING BOOTS ON THE GROUND ON TEXAS BORDER

This week it is critical that Texans take actions to ensure that Texas House Representatives honor the desires for a secure border indicated by recent elections. Activists can only do so much to thwart the monied interests in this state and need back-up at this time. If you want to see our border secured from illegal crossings and all the consequent crime and violence that go with it, we must seek a continued budget in the upcoming supplemental bill. That means pressure by Texas Voters on the deciders in the committees dealing with budget matters as well as your own House Representative.

Did I read that right? 12 Million will only fund them through May? Not that it’s not worth it but that seems a little high. Then again I’d donate my own money if it would help the cause.

Yes because legislators can only vote for the morally upright thing if its backed by money.

The political process in this country makes me sick. PAC funds here, PAC funds there. All votes go in favor of the highest bidder & biggest donor.

This is a cause worth supporting, admittedly, but does it bother anyone else that people actually have to contribute to swing the vote??? I thought border security was a legitimate function of government funded by our tax dollars. Silly me.

Grassroots Texans has led, coordinated on the border issue and is privy to what is needed here. JoAnn Fleming is a well respected leader and attends all the meetings. We are trying to get Texans to understand the Cheap labor forces in this state MUST CALL (an hour of calls) to counter their influences over the lawmakers dealing with budget needs.
