wait a minute... so it wasn’t actually the mosque itself that was burnt? only a storage building? On top of that, the storage building is a very new structure. I know that part of town. Many small multi-tenant properties; virtually all commercial. I don't know the layout of this specific property, but it may not have even been clear that this new building was part of the Islamic Center.
I think I saw a statement of a member of the Islamic Center who speculated the storage building was targeted because it was the only wooden structure at the Islamic Center site.
