My sister was telling me today about her friend who is way cheap who voted for obama twice. He was complaining about the high cost of the obamacare insurance. He had “normal” insurance at his last full time job (can only get part time work now) but hated paying the small $15 to $20 deductible.... now the deductible is in the several thousands!!
Both my wife and I have noticed at our primary care docs things are far less busy the last 18 months or so.
I suspect the ginormous deductibles have made folks much less prone to doctor visits.
