Williams was not suspended for lying, but for getting caught, because refusing to tell the truth is normal procedure in the mainstream liberal media
Brian Williams lied. It turns out he was not on a helicopter that was hit in Iraq. He was not caught in a war scenario, and if he had been, he probably would have soiled his pants, and cried big giant pacifist tears. He’s not the first to make such false claims, and he won’t be the last.
I was in the United States Navy, saw a few interesting things, but when asked about my service, I usually say “it was inconsequential.” It was, in my opinion. I know many heroes that saw action that I could not even begin to imagine. I will let those heroes tell their own stories. Other tales, ones that are fabricated about harrowing experiences like Brian Williams uttered, are usually spewed by folks in an attempt to make themselves look better, or seem braver than they really are. I just don’t play that game. In the case of Williams, however, who is a well-known reporter, and a successful newsman. . . it just seems strange that he would embellish his activities to make

I’ve been shocked that anyone ever took him seriously, or ‘trusted’ him.
His Katrina stories were so unrealistic, and he told them with such a false angst....I just assumed everyone knew he was a blowhard who made stuff up.
The first clue - he reported nightly from Katrina, with a camera crew...but failed to mention or photograph his stories at the time. Of course he made that crap up.
My favorite is his “...stuck a .38 caliber pistol in my face...” story. I’m pretty sure Lyin Brian couldn’t distinguish between a banana or a pistol....much less id the caliber of a pistol. Just bluster.
But wasn’t Williams in the swift boat with Kerry eating Vienna sausages while watching corpses float by on Christmas morning?
Lyin Brian drew attention to media distortions. If they lose their credibility then nobody will believe their lies. Funny isn’t it.
Army report just found:

When you hear Brian Williams speak you will notice his words are too polished as if he was writing a fairy tale.
