Dick Lane? Thought he was a wrestling/boxing announcer. Remember a joke from decades ago that the famous lovers lane in S Cal, Mulhaland Dr was being renamed to Dick Lane.

We remember him mostly for announcing wrestling and roller derby but he had a long and varied career. lately a local oldies station has been airing old Boston Blackie movies and until I read his Wikipedia page I never recognized that he acted in fourteen of them.
