"I need to make that very, very clear so that I don’t suddenly disappear. I need to make it home tonight.”

Who would have thought that we would live in a country where people talked like that? Even in jest, it's appalling. And I don't think it's in jest.

The Nazis had a policy of Nacht und Nebel -- night and fog. German citizens who were troublesome would just disappear.

And here we are. Michael Hastings, Andrew Breibart, others. Scary.

We have long since crossed the line between reality and fantasy. Citizens are detached from reality via smart phones and “Entertainment Media” while being programmed to believe Obama has everything under control.

It is all a veil of lies.

Tragic. This is what we have come to; prominent citizens openly terrified of their government ‘not liking’ the truth. This executive is dead serious, and doesn’t care who calls him a crackpot.

The real Obama unemployment rate has never recovered and is still above 10%.......BS. He tries to make a point but I still say the rate is above 33%. Nobody factors in recent college graduates, recent high school graduates, those who the government transitioned from unemployment to disability, those who lost jobs and decided on early retirement, etc., etc. The unemployment rate is factored on those who lost their jobs 5 years ago( or so) and can’t find a job NOW. IF the real rate was told, it would scare the Bejeesus out of thinking, productive Americans.

“I think that the number that comes out of BLS [Bureau of Labor Statistics] and the Department of Labor is very, very accurate. I need to make that very, very clear so that I don’t suddenly disappear. I need to make it home tonight.”

I have combined the tables from several federal government sources into one table to try to prove the point. It's overlong for a reply but me stating that this or that is true cannot match government numbers -- most of the reply is commented-out because the entire effort shows that it is the worst it’s been in 30 years.

How bad can it get? compare the number of working in 2007 and end of 2014. The population has increased. We still lack millions of jobs. And look at how many stopped looking for jobs! And look at those number of people losing jobs during the years Obama was busy destroying our healthcare system! Look how well the foreign born have done.

Labor Force Statistics from the Census Bureau Current Population Survey (CPS) and other federal sources. Comparing Obama to other administrations.

The data are annualized except when noted otherwise. All are monthly or quarterly. I use the last month / quarter of the year.

Much of the size of this is taken up by instructions on how to get the sources of the data and much, much more data!

The numbered column headings are for:

  1. Population (omitted)
  2. Civilian noninstitutional population [thousands]
  3. Civilian labor force [thousands]. If omitted hover Col 4. to access
  4. Civilian labor force participation rate
  5. Employed [thousands]
  6. Employment-population ratio
  7. Employed full time (persons who usually work 35 hours or more) [thousands]
  8. Employed part time (persons who usually work less than 35 hours [thousands]. If omitted hover Col 7. to access
  9. Unemployed [thousands]
  10. Unemployed looking for full-time work [thousands]
  11. Unemployment rate
  12. Unemployment rate of the full-time labor force
  13. Not in labor force [thousands]

Taking into account the year preceding the Obama administration, here is the first six years of the administration using these spread sheet formulas to compute %'s:
(2014 value - 2008 value) / 2008 value

I get

*If you take into account the 2007 number of Employed full time 121621 [thousands] Obama's number would be negative. About all that happened is despite Obama most of the jobs lost in the first few years of his admnistration while he concentrated on destroying our healthcare system were recovered by the end of 2014.

Gee. How come Obama had such big decreases in (Col 9.) Unemployed and (Col 10) Unemployed looking for full-time work? Guess.

Col 11 and Col 12 are the (phony?) Unemployment rate and Unemployment rate of the full-time labor force, respectively. See table for President Obama's disasters in these categories:

How to find the data source

Table Information
Column headings 1 to 13
I've combined several tables into one. Most of the tables were obtained here: go to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Labor Force Statisics from the Current Population Survey (CPS). Make your selections. I chose quarterly data.

I took the fourth quarter data from each table and combined them into the main part of the table above. For the year 2014 I took the third quarter data.

The democrat party instills FEAR. Why would anyone vote these criminals into power? The result so far has been 10’s of millions of people unemployed with more under employed with sky high deductibles for “free” healthcare.

Attacking one country after another to install the muslim brotherhood terrorist group. Allowing Iraq to get nuclear weapons even when they state they will attack Israel and the United States and kill millions.

The democrats are led by ideologues who care nothing for anyone but their pie in the sky plans.
