Audio Link-----This is avery interesting interview between Dr. Al Frech and Roman Genn, principal artist and contributing editor of National Review Magazine. Click on the link for the interview that reveals quite a bit about what life was like for a young dissident artist in the Soviet Union just before the wall came down. Roman also addresses the situation for conservative artists and activists today, and what the challenges are for the future. My favorite part is when Roman talks about being lifted in the arms of his father to look at Soviet papers glued to the wall in Moscow, and ties it in with how he holds his own little daughter the same way to view satirical cartoons on the wall of his home.
Excellent interview.
Thanks, Yardstick. I’m looking forward to hearing him at CPAC.
