FEBRUARY 6, 2015 The Fallon-ization of Dunham and Williams The late-night comedian provides cover and preemptive redemption for lefties caught lying.

By Michelle Malkin

Comedian Jimmy Fallon is a celebrity fraud’s best friend. He’s an answer to normal America’s question: How do creepy stars get away with their grotesqueries?

If you’re lucky enough to sit by his late-night throne and join his cool-kid games, all your troubles will melt away. Funnyman Jimmy is not just a bread-and-circuses buffoon — he’s the keeper of the pop-culture-immunity necklace.

A few weeks ago, the Tonight show host bestowed his boob-tube shield upon grotesque actress Lena Dunham — a favorite repeat guest who famously declared an “obsessive crush” on Fallon. This time, they played “perverted Pictionary.” The main gag involved foot-long hot dogs. Entertainment reporters and women’s magazines dutifully gushed about Dunham’s “fierce” doodling skills and “perfectly blended smoky eyes,” but not a peep from any of them about Dunham’s real-world lying game.

... the Tonight show host...I'm old enough to have watched the beginning of the "Tonight Show" with the great Steve Allen - a real free spirit comedian, raconteur, composer, musician, philosopher, author - hard to believe it's descended to this level of trash.....

In her book, Lena Dunham claimed she was raped. But it was a lie. The MSM ignored it. Fallon is a fool. He’s not that funny.

Yep. My earliest memory of the show was when Jack Paar was on it. I haven’t watched it since Johnny retired.

I agree. I spend so much time with my head in politics that it is a relief at night to just laugh. I appreciate the fact that Jimmy has not gotten all political. I know I would have a difficult time hosting somebody like Joe Biden or either one of the Obama's.

I don't watch the guy after him because he only has libs on.

Jimmy Fallon is as funny as hell.

I have lived a good deal of the last 4 years under a rock and I don't own a television set at home... but last week I came across a routine on YouTube where Jimmy Fallon and his house band, The Roots, will take a popular song by a musical guest and perform it arranged with all "classroom instruments". I have watched that version of Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me, Maybe probably 15 times in the past week just because they are having so much fun with it. The one with Robin Thicke doing Blurred Lines with classroom instruments is good too.

Yes, they are a hoot. You might go to the Tonight Show website (it might be on youtube) and see if you can find his take-off on Downton Abbey:

There is a series of them.
